Yes, there is a per-shipment handling fee to package and label dangerous goods properly. The fee is 8% of the total value of the dangerous goods, with a minimum cost of 29.99 USD when shipping with DHL or FedEx from the US. This fee also applies to uninstalled lithium batteries.
If a lithium battery is installed, an 8.00 USD handling fee applies for proper labeling and packaging of the shipment.
