What is Two-Factor Authentication?

2FA adds an extra verification step when you log in to your MyUS account.

Instead of entering only your password, you’ll also be asked to confirm your identity using a one-time verification code sent to your email address.

Think of it as a second layer of security for your account.

Even if someone knows your password, they won’t be able to access your account without that verification code.

When Will I See This Update?

We’re rolling out 2FA in phases to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for our members.

How It Works

Here’s what to expect once 2FA is enabled in your country:

Step 1: Log In as Usual

Enter your email address and password from MyUS.com

Step 2: Verify Your Identity

You’ll receive a one-time verification code via email.

Enter the code on the login screen, and check “Remember me” to save your authentication status for 30 days.

Once you are authenticated:

• If you log in from a new device, browser, or IP address, you’ll be prompted to verify again.

Important: Make Sure Your Email Address Is Current

Because your verification code will be sent to your account email address, it’s important to ensure:

• Your email address is up to date
• You have access to that inbox
