Apple iPhone Releases
In October 2018, Apple released 3 new iPhones, the iPhone XR, XS and XS Max.
Whether you're a die-hard iPhone fan that's trying to decide on whether to stick with your current iPhone or upgrade, or you're an Android user thinking of making the big switch, you'll want to know how the latest "X" releases stack up to previous iPhones.
iPhone XS Max, XS, and XR
Let's take a look at the latest iPhone's released in October 2018; iPhone XR, XS and XS Max.
iPhone XS Max and XS
With a whopping 6.5-inch Super Retina HD display, the XS Max is the biggest iPhone ever. If you're not a fan of the larger size, you can opt with the XS that has all the bells and whistles of the XS Max, but a smaller 5.8-inch Super Retina HD display.
Both come in silver, space gray, and gold, and have dual 12-megapixel cameras, with a wide-angle (ƒ/1.8 aperture) lens and and telephoto (ƒ/2.4) aperture. These dual sensors give these phones 2x optical zoom, and up to 10x digital zoom.
iPhone XR
The iPhone XR has a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina HD display, which is a bit less vibrant than the XS Max and XS, but you may not notice (or mind) the difference if you haven't already upgraded to an iPhone X.
It's camera is also different than the other two models, sporting a single 12-megapixel wide-angle (ƒ/1.8 aperture) sensor instead of the dual. It's available in six colors as opposed to three, and has the best battery life of all three models.
All three phones have speedy performance, with A12 Bionic processors, and Apple's now selling Smart Battery Cases that will extend your talk time on all three models.
Purchase an iPhone XS Max, XS or XR Directly from the US - It’s Cheaper!
If you live outside the US, there’s no better way to buy a new iPhone than from a US website with MyUS. Why you might ask?
Buying an iPhone overseas is often much more expensive than buying from a US website, even when you factor in shipping charges. And when you purchase from US websites as a MyUS member, you won’t pay US sales tax, which can add up to HUGE savings!
Our favorite sources for unlocked iPhones are eBay and Amazon, and they have some great deals on the XS Max, XS and XR models right now, take a look:

BONUS: What New iPhones Will Launch in 2019?
2018 brought us the XS Max, XS, and XR late in the year, and we're expecting a similar scenario in 2019, with three iPhones released sometime in October 2019. So what will these new iPhones have in store for us?
First, let's talk about the displays. There's some debate about whether or not Apple will go with an all OLED lineup and remove LED displays (like the one on the iPhone XR) all together, but since OLED displays come with such a bigger price tag, we're expecting that LED displays won't be going away just yet.
One of the biggest rumors swirling around about the 2019 models is whether of not the next-gen 6.5-inch iPhone will have a triple-lens rear camera. It's believed that Apple is working on several prototypes, so it's still up in the air as to what a triple-lens would look like.
Leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer recently partnered with two other sites to come up with the rendering shown above, featuring a large, square-shaped camera that contains a flash, a microphone, and three lenses in a triangular pattern. If it does appear in 2019, it could have lots of new bells and whistles including better 3D sensing for AR purposes, better performance in low light conditions, and 3x optical zoom capabilities.
Another big question is the notch - will the new 2019 iPhones have a revamped front-facing camera with a smaller notch, or no notch? We're not sure how they would pull that off, but it would be an exciting update.
Last but not least, talk of Apple Pencil support on iPhones has been popping up, which would allow them to work with Apple's stylus, maybe a fun feature for the larger 6.5-inch models? Also, what will they be called? With the jump to "X" named phones, 2019 releases could follow suits with iPhone XI or iPhone 11, but they could also go in an entirely new direction like they did when they launched the iPhone X, we'll have to wait and see!
