Apple iPhone Releases in 2018

With a whopping 3 iPhones expected to be released, 2018 is turning into a very exciting year for loyal Apple fans, as well as for Android users thinking of making the big switch. How will these new releases stack up to previous iPhones, and what new features will be available?

What New iPhones Will Launch in 2018?

While no details have been officially released from Apple, many rumors and phone mockups have already surfaced online, including predictions from Ming-Chi Kuo, a KGI securities analyst who, along with his research team, are well known for their accuracy when predicting details about future Apple products.

Curious about what may be next for the Apple iPhone? Here are the rumored details so far…

• According to Kuo, there will be two new iPhones targeting the “higher-end” market, and they're expected to have many of the same features as the iPhone X, including edge-to-edge screens, FaceID, and Apple’s facial recognition camera. One will have a 5.8-inch OLED screen, same size as the current iPhone X, with the other boasting a 6.5-inch OLED screen with a higher resolution. Both expected to have a retail price around 1,000 US dollars.
• A middle-to-low end iPhone with a 6.1-inch TFT-LCD screen with a lower resolution is also expected, with a price tag between 649 and 749 US dollars expected.

Design

This year, it's expected that all of Apple's flagship iPhone's will take on the all-screen design of the iPhone X, and also have a Face ID camera.

All three phones are also rumored to have a TrueDepth Camera like the current iPhone X. It's also a good bet that the lower end LCD phone will have a metal back, which will mean no wireless charging, but the upside that it's a good possibility that the metal backs will be available in multiple colors. 

With new Apple releases usually launching in September, there is plenty of time for changes, but it’s shaping up to be an exciting year.
