Banned Items: What You Can’t Ship to Kuwait from the USA

The following items are prohibited from import to Kuwait according to local customs laws. MyUS will not be able to ship or deliver prohibited items to KWT:

• Pornographic materials (such as magazines, DVDs or sex toys)
• Media displaying female anatomy
• Items offensive to Kuwait Royal family, Kuwait politics, habits or traditions
• Pork products of any kind (such as bacon, ribs, sausage, gammon or ham)
• Items with toxic poisons
• Items made in Israel
• Gold (18k or below)
• Counterfeit brands and goods
• Firearms and ammunitions
• Playing cards
• Animal furs, ivory, leathers
• Illegal drugs (such as narcotics)
• Tobacco products (including E-cigarettes and vaping products) for FedEx, DHL, UPS, and USPS carriers.

Please note: Prohibited and banned items are different from “dangerous goods”. Dangerous goods are items that may pose a safety risk during international air or ground transportation. You may be surprised that many common household items are considered dangerous goods, including:

• Items with lithium batteries (many cell phones and electronic devices)
• Nail polish
• Hand sanitizer
• Shoe polish
• Make-your-own soda machines
